Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- 2
Place the asparagus spears on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, season with salt, pepper, and half of the garlic powder. Toss gently to coat.
- 3
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the other side of the baking sheet, leaving some space between the fillets and the asparagus. Drizzle the salmon with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, the remaining garlic powder, and dried dill (if using).
- 4
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the asparagus is tender-crisp. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
- 5
Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Drizzle the fresh lemon juice over both the salmon and asparagus.
- 6
Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges on the side.
