  • •2 tablespoons milk or cream
  • •1/4 teaspoon salt
  • •Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk or cream, salt, and pepper until well combined and slightly frothy.

  2. 2

Heat the butter or cooking oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Once the butter is melted and shimmering, pour in the egg mixture.

  3. 3

Allow the eggs to set for about 30 seconds without stirring. Then, using a spatula, gently push the cooked portions from the edges towards the center, tilting the pan to allow uncooked egg to flow underneath.

  4. 4

Continue cooking and gently folding the eggs until they are mostly set but still slightly moist. Stir in the cooked bacon bits during the last minute of cooking.

  5. 5

While the eggs are cooking, toast the bread in a toaster or under the broiler until golden brown and crispy.

  6. 6

Serve the scrambled eggs immediately with the toasted bread. Add ketchup or hot sauce if desired.
